Tigers of Tiger Canyons

Tiger Canyons in South Africa may seem like an unlikely place to see tigers, particularly located as it is in the heart of the Karoo. Yet it has some of the nicest tiger habitat tigers could ask for, plenty of food, water and perhaps the fastest growing wild tiger population on the planet. We believe the future of tiger conservation could lie outside of Asia in places like this, where tigers don't have to compete with half of humanity for breathing and breeding room like they must in India,China and the other places in Asia they call home.

UK wildlife artist Pip McGarry and his wife, along with 10 of their friends and guests. They were in Africa to photograph scenes to paint once back home and everyone must have got a year's worth of work at least. Look out for Pip's soon-to-be-painted hyaena and vultures canvas!

I completely agree with you that tigers have to compete with the people for breathing and breeding room in most of the countries, especially in India and China. The tigers in Tiger Canyon are totally free, considering the situation in these countries!

I don't believe in Tigers being sent to my ancestral land, in fact, I think it's up to Asians to safeguard the animals that God put on their land. We have enough issues in our land as it is, and we don't need to further compound it by bringing foreign animals into our soil, with that said, Africa is lion country.

It is a nice story. Who would think of tigers in Africa? It has surprise the tiger could ask for plenty of water and food to eat. In that forest have very huge fastest growing tiger population.
