This safari has been designed to allow us to spend two full photo sessions with the remaining two rhinos of this rare and obviously endangered northern species at the Ol Pejeta sanctuary in Kenya's Laikipia Plateau. While at Ol Pejeta we will also have ample time to see and photograph the private reserve's prolific wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, both black and white rhinos, majestic reticulated giraffe and rare Grevy's zebras and elephants. OL PEJETA & LEWA DOWNS, KENYAThis safari starts in Nairobi and we include your first night in a modern new hotel, as well as a meet & greet service plus transfers from the international airport on your arrival. The return to Nairobi on the final day of your safari will be in time for most late afternoon and evening air departures but we can arrange another night in a Nairobi hotel should you require this.
We travel by private air charter from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to the private airstrip on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where we will be met and transferred to our luxury tented camp for two nights. We spend two full photo sessions with the magnificent northern white rhinos, but will also have opportunities to photograph much of the reserve's other wildlife. From Ol Pej we transfer by air to the nearby Lewa Downs Wildlife Conservancy for four nights, and will have many opportunities to photograph the prolific game in this reserve, including lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and cheetah. |
